By accessing or using Spex ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.
2. No Professional Advice (AI Disclaimer)
CRITICAL: The Service utilizes Artificial Intelligence to analyze documents and estimate fees. This is for informational purposes only.
You acknowledge that:
a) The Service may produce inaccurate or misleading results ("hallucinations").
b) The Service does NOT constitute legal, financial, or professional supply chain advice.
c) You are solely responsible for verifying all outputs before taking any action (e.g., disputing a fee).
d) We are not liable for any losses resulting from reliance on the Service's output.
3. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SPEX OR ITS OWNERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL SPEX'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, FOR ACCESSING THE SERVICE DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE DATE OF THE CLAIM.
4. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Spex and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from your use of and access to the Service.
5. "As Is" and "As Available" Disclaimer
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
